Imagist Poem

Lotion

Self soothing always entoxicating me with your different scents
smooth skin no longer is it dry and cracked.

  1. Unfortunately, there's no figurative language or metaphor here. In the original poem, the author compares something human/man-made (the station at the metro) to something natural (soft wet petals on a black bough). So what natural thing could you liken your lotion to?
